Meet your Teacher :)

Hello LRHS students!

My name is Olivia Guy and I will be your English teacher this 2016-2017 school year.  I wanted to take a minute to give you some information about me, and also introduce you to blogspot, since we will be using it this year in the classroom.

I grew up in the area.  I graduated from Springfield Catholic High School, received my undergraduate degree from University of Missouri - Columbia (MIZZOU), and then my graduate degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI.  (Go Spartans!) This will be my 16th year teaching high school, and I love my job.

I have 3 children.  My oldest daughter is a freshman this year at Logan Rogersville. Her name is Grace. I also have a four year old, Corina, and a 2 year old, Sullivan. I can't forget my fantastic husband, Robert.  He is a senior software developer for HealthMedX in Ozark.

Some ways I love to spend free time - traveling, cooking, running short and sometimes long races and runs, cycling, listening to music and going to concerts.  I am always trying new things and love to spend time with my family.
